THE TEXAS WEREWOLF

My mother told me that there is a distance cousin who is “cursed”. This curse is that he turns into a werewolf. There are stories of encounters with werewolves in Texas. It could be him or his children and /or grandchildren that that are sighted in and around Texas. If he is alive still, he would be in he's in 70's. He's believed to be a native american.
He used to live in an Indian town with his grandparents in Texas. The town knew his cursed. Rumor has it that his parents were cursed by God for a wrong that was committed. The transformation started when he was just a toddler learning to walk. He never went to school . The transformation was random and at night only. So, he was tied up every night. Rope and chains were his nightly ware. But occasionally, he would escape. The local police and town posse always hunted him down and took him home. He wasn't dangerous and easily caught. For years this was the routine. When he became a teenager, this routine became useless. He was becoming really strong. and it took more people to catch him. They couldn't take him home so easily. So, the town folk started to tie him to trees and wait till dawn to let him go. Now everybody of the town and his own relatives started to fear him .They decided to kill him after his grandparents die (they were only ones in the way). They failed many times and he escape the town. Last anybody knew, he was wondering the back roads of Texas and nearby states. My aunt Betsy tracked him down though the Texas desert (like the good Indian she was) and heard he's story. She kept he's hiding place a secret and never told anybody where it was. She's been died nearly two decades. As of 2007 he still being hunted by he's family. They believe he's death would restore their family honor.
My mother actually saw him when he was a young teenager. He was tied up inside a barn. She said his coat was light. He's eyes weren’t wild but look human and calm. They look blueish to her.
