A SPIRIT OF THE SEASON

A strange event happened on a Christmas Eve almost forty years ago. It was snowing in the little Texas town. My grandfather and the family stopped at a gas station on the way home. Grandfather was filling the truck up when a dirty homeless man approached him. He asked him for food and grandfather gave him what he had to spare. Grandfather went and finished filling the truck. Then, he noticed the man was gone leaving his large dirty sack behind. He opened the sack to find a surprise. It was filled with lots of little cheap toys. He went and question the gas attendant about the homeless man. The attendant told him that the only man he saw talking to grandfather was a man dressed in Santa outfit. He never seen him before either. When the family came back home, the kids went out and passed out toys to the other kids in the neighborhood.
