My father had a nasty experience with supernatural when he was a kid. It was he's own fault actually. It started when he was in the local “witch's” business/ home. He couldn't remember why he was there for. While in the shop, he did a big no no. He was warned before of touching what wasn't he's. He touched her crystal ball and suddenly fell extremely ill minutes later. It lasted couple of days and he never did that again.
If I'm not mistaken, the local “witch” saved his life years later. Him and his buddies were goofing around and injured he's leg real bad. The main artery in his lower leg was cut open and he was bleeding to death. The nearest thing to a hospital was dozen of miles away. The locals asked the witch for help. She told all the kids in town to gather all the spider webs they could find and bring them to her. Every house searched and she made a weird paste and sealed the wound. It worked and she told him to keep his leg elevated real high. The wound healed up couple of weeks later.
