THE MEMORIAL DAY GHOST

The house that I live in now ( 7 + years ) has a yearly traveler on this day. It's is the spirit of a man in the service who comes around 8-10p.m.. My mother was the first one to see him. He got her attention when some of the neighborhood dogs started to howl. She was outside in the laundry room at the time. She walked out and looked around the area. Across the road, she noticed a man walking slowly on the sidewalk. He was looking at the houses. It appears that he was looking for a certain one. He stopped at this one house and walked up to it. He suddenly vanished. This house belongs to a retired military man. Is this ghostly soldier a former buddy or relative checking on him?
